4.30 O’CLOCK EDITION

DAIL EIREANN DISSOLVED ELECTION ON JUNE 17 MR DE VALERAS DISPLEASURE mud pr#at Assn.—Eiec. Tsl. Copyright (Received May 28, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, May 28. A proclamation has dissolved the Dell Elreann and has ordered a general election for June 17. This Is apparently the sequel to Mr De Valera's displeasure at his defeat by one vote on May 25, owing to the absence of ten Government supporters. He is anxious to throw off the shackles of the Labour Party, on which he has to depend- since the election last July. It is expected that the London agreement will be his main plank.
