The main opposition conies from medical practitioners who are demanding an increase of the capitation fee from 11s to at least 14s. The Prime Minister. Mr J. A. Lyons, has hinted that he intends to arrppt the challenge by the doctors who have decided to conduct a plebiscite in order to ascertain whether they will work under the Government's plan. Tlie British Medical Association forecasts an 80 per cent vote against the Government. The Labour Party is openly hostile to the Bill, declaring that it does not go far enough.
