HOCKEY CLUB DANCE
BUCCEBB AT HOROTIU The Horotiu Ladies’ Hockey Club held a successful dance in the Horotiu Hall recently. The hall was gaily decorated with streamers, bttlloons and greenery. Novelty dances were won by Mr Crosby and Miss Dwen, Miss Little and Mr Bunker and Mr Brian Coleman. Excellent music was supplied by Collings’ Orchestra and extras were played by Miss Strawbridge. Mr Stott was M.C. Among those present were:—Mesdames A. Hutchison, wearing black crepe-de-chine; J. McGregor, blue satin and lace; H. Williams, white satin; Joyce Warren, midnight blue chiffon blue velvet; D. Robertson, floral tunic frock; E. Mcßurney, black silk lace over blue satin; J. Titmarsh, blue check taffeta; V. Orchard, black georgette; D. Hurlstone, black cloque and sequins; B. Titmarsh, turquoise satin beaute; D. Sampson, green and gold georgette; E. Mcßurney, Burgundy flat crepe; S. Hooker, black cloque; Mavis Dwen, Nile green lace; Hilda Scholes (Cambridge), flame georgette'; E. Harwood, coral pink floral crepe; Doris Bell, navy crinkle crepe with red floral relief; Mary Strawbridge, black crepe; Walker, white angel lace; B. Hall, blue floral satin; E. Smith, black satin beaute and silver; K. Little, floral organdie; M. McPherson, ivory satin beaute.
