THE WOOL SHOP

KNITTING NEWS At this time of the year, knitters arc busy making their garments for the coming season. Hundreds of skeins of wools of all qualities and colours are being used every day, and the best shop to purchase these needs is The Wool Shop in Ward Street. Winter Show visitors will be passing down Ward Street and they should all stop at this famous wool depot, which is on the right hand side going down to the Show, about four doors from Victoria Street. Here one can purchase all the best wools in the latest colours, pattern books of every description, or exclusive knitwear, tailored in any wools, any style or stitch at a moderate price. This establishment, which is owned by Eileen Fletcher, is well-known for the knitting of cuffs, bands, collars, belts, etc., which is done at a big concession. when wool is purchased there. These bands save endless hours of tedious knitting. They also keep the garment in shape, giving it that “fit and finished” appearance. Wool purchased elsewhere will also lie knitted into hands at the price of Gd per band.
