A DEADLOCK
HODZA AND HENLEIN SITUATION IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA GERMAN CRITICISM OF BRITAIN (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received- May 27. 11.25 a.m.) LONDON, May 2 6 The latest dispatches from official quarters indicate that the Czechoslovakian situation is unchanged. The Czechs have ordered all aeroplanes five kilometres behind the frontier, while the frontier patrols are without rifles, thus easing the tension. But th© German resentment against Britain continues. A deadlock remains between Dr. Hodza and Herr Hcnlein. The former wants to negotiate immediately, but the latter says he is not ready. Importance attaches to Mr Chamberlain sending the head of the Central Department of the Foreign Office to Prague, Berlin and Paris, to consult the British Embassies and bring back a picture of the situation.
