OBITUARY

MR F. C. HALL (Special to Times.) PUTARURU, Thursday The death has occurred of Mr Frederick Charles Hall, of Putaruru, aged 60 years. Mr Hall was born at Sehvyn, near Christchurch, and was the second son of the late Mr and Mrs W. Hall, Cornish settlers who arrived in New Zealand in the early days. Mr Hall worked on the railway in his younger days, and later entered business on his own account as a storekeeper. He rejoined the railway staff and was stationed at Waitoa and Ngatira. He lived in Matamata for several years and then went to Putaruru. where he bought a farm. Deceased is survived by a widow, four sons and one daughter.
