VIBITORB FROM 80UTH TWO WAIKATO TOURS Two parties of young farmers from the Manawatu and Wairarapa districts will shortly visit the Waikato in the course of a tour through the North Island. The Wairarapa party, comprising 24. will arrive at Te Aroha tomorrow*. later visiting Knpuarahi and Mr A. AfcClean's pampas grass farm at. Waitakaruru. After visiting Auckland they will return to the Waikato, calling at the Te Kauvvhata vineyards and the Piri Land Company’s farm at Orini. While in the Waikato the party will visit Runkura, Arapunl and Te Awanjutu, leaving t lip district on June 3. The partv from Manawatu is a large one. comprising no fewer than 130 members of young farmers’ clubs. They will arrive in Hamilton next Thursday and during their stay here they will be billeted in flie Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s buildings at Claudelands. The visitors will be shown over the Ruakura Stale Farm, the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company’s piggeries at Te Awamutu and the hydro-electric works at Arapunl. Before leaving for Tauranga on June 5, the Manawatu visitors will have the opportunity of visiting the Waikato Winter Show.
