PLAY IN HAMILTON COMPETITIONS COMMENCE Th© opening; matches in the Waikato basketball Association’s competitions Will be played on Saturday. Following is the draw for games to be played on the Collingwood Street courts:— Senior A 2 p.m.: Old Technicals A v. Old Technicals B, No. 3 court (Mr Lord); 2 p.m.: High School A v. Convent Old Girls A, No. 4 court (Miss Atkinson); 2.50, High Old Girls A v. High Old Girls B, No. 3 court (Miss Atkinson) ; Frankton A a bye. Senior B 2 p.m., Karamuv. Y.W.C.A., No. i court (Mrs French) ; 2 p.m., High School C v. Matangi, No. 2 court (Mr Holmes); 2.50 p.m., Frankton B v. Hospital, No. 1 court (Miss Davis); 2.50 p.m., High School B v. Convent Old Girls B, No. 2 court (Mr Holmes); 2.50 p.m., Koromatua v. High School D, No. 4 court (Mr Lord); Norton Road a bye. The following games will be played at the High School courts: — Junior A 1.45 p.m., High A v. St. Mary's; 2.20 p.m., High C v. High B; 2.55 P.m., High D v. St. Theresa. Junior B 1.45 p.m.. High E v. High H; 2.20 P.m., St. Patrick’s v. High G; 2.55 p.m., St. Anne's v. High F; High I a bye. TE AROHA ASSOCIATION MEETING OF DELEGATES (Special to Times) TE- AROHA, Wednesday. At the annual meeting of menhbers of the Te Aroha Basketball Association Mr F. \. Flowerday presided. Delegates were present rrom the City, Convent, Elstow. Springdale, Te Punlnga, Waitoa and Old Pupils’ clubs. The election or officers resulted as follows:—President. Mr F. V. FJowerday-vice-presidents, Misses H. Robertson and D. Currie; secretary and treasurer, Mis* D. McGregor. The committee will comprise delegates from each eiub. The opening day was fixed for May 28.
