WAIPA ASSOCIATION TEAMS FOR TRIAL MATCH (Special to Times) TE AWAMUTU, Wednesday. The following teams have been selected for a trial match to be played at Albert Park. Te Awamutu, on Saturday after the championship games to allow the selectors to pick the best team' to meet the English ladies’ touring team in Te Awamutu on June «: A Team.—Goalkeeper. Lithgow (Otorohanga). E. Spiers (Paterangi), R. Spiers ■Paterangi'. G. Bell (Pirongia; and Mrs Hawley (Pirongia'. B Team.—Goalkeeper, Miss M. Anderson < Pirongia i; fullbacks, Misses G. OFFICERS AT MOTUMAOHO At a recent meeting of the Motumaoho Ladies’ Hockey Club the following officers were elected:—President, Mrs \v. Smith; secretary. Miss B. Gifford: treasurer. Mrs Cox: captain. Miss A. Larsen; vice-captain, Miss E. Belsey. in a match between the Motumaoho ladies’ team and the Kalhere team, Motumaoho were defeated by 3 goal* to 1.
