DRAIN AND PRODUCE THE AUCKLAND MARKETS (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND. Wednesday. No shortage of potatoes exists on the Auckland market, following the arrival of five vessels with supplies from the South Island. Potatoes. —Heavy deliveries are being made from the ship's side and the price to-day ranges from £7 to £7 5s a ton for whites, and from £7 5s to £7 10s a ton for reds, a drop of approximately b* a ton on last week's rates. Onions. —The through store quotations show little alteration at from 14« 6d to 15s per cwt. Wheat. —The market is steady at 11s lid to 12s Id per looib from store stocks. Maize.—Quotations are the same as last week, current prices ranging from 1 Barley—Clipped is quoted at from 10s 6d to lOs 8d per IOOIb.
