LECTURES IN HAMILTON Arranged with the purpose of acquainting the public of Hamilton with the activities of the School of Home Science in 1 lie last 25 years a meeting will be held in the Hamilton Technical College on Friday when representatives of the school will give addresses. The work of the school is not as well known in the. North Island as it is in the South and the meeting has been arranged with a view to giving the public a better conception, of the ideals of the institution. Professor A. G. Strong. Dean of the Faculty, and a member of the American Dietotics Association, will speak

on home science, its accomplishments And aims, with special reference to New Zealand, and Dr. Elizabeth Gregory, lecturer of chemistry and nutrition at the school, will discuss the problems of nutrition. The latter address will be illustrated with lantern slides. An opportunity will be afforded for the public to discuss any question relating to the work of the school and dietetic problems.
