She is the guest j of Mrs W. Rathbone. Miss Peggy Luxford, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs H. Luxford, in Hamilton, has returned to Pongakawa. Mrs C„ Stanners, of Eltham, is visiting Hamilton where she is the guest of Mrs McL. T. Clephane. • • m m Mrs Joseph Crawford has returned to Hamilton after spending a week’s holiday with Mrs T. A. Crawford, of Patea, Taranaki. Miss Nonnie Griffiths, of New Plymouth, is visiting Hamilton. Mrs R. Kiddey, of Auckland, has been spending a few days in Hamilton. Mrs G- Smith, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs A. Head, of Hamilton, returned to Auckland last night. • • • • Miss Avice Atkinson, who spent the school vacation in Auckland, has returned to Hamilton. * * * • Miss M. Howe, of Hamilton, is a visitor to Stratford and 13 the guest of Mrs T. Richardson. * * * * Mrs Pittans, of Hamilton, is the guest of her mother, Mrs T. Richardson, at Stratford. * * * • Miss Molly Campbell and Miss Ethel Madeley, who have been spending the school vacation in New Plymouth, have returned to Hamilton. • * * m Mrs A. N. Baker, of Wellington, who has been visiting Mrs Harold Baker, in Hamilton, left to-day for Waihl. • * * • Mrs J. C. Beale, of Epsom, Auckland, has returned to her home from a visit to Hamilton as the guest of Mrs Harold Baker. Miss Koa Day has returned to Hamilton from New Plymouth. • * • m Miss Joan Clephane, who has been the guest of her mother, Mrs McL. T. Clephane, in Hamilton, has left to take up a dental position at Glen Eden, Auckland. * * * * At the New Plymouth Victoria League’s afternoon in commemoration of Empire Day, a brief programme of songs was given by Mesdames A. Bulmer, R. Wells (Hamilton), Neave and Harrington. CAMBRIDGE Mrs F- Hunt, of Auckland, was a week-end visitor to Cambridge. * * * * Mrs Kenneth Potter, who has been visiting Cambridge, is on holiday in i'aeroa before returning to her home at Bayswater, Auckland. Mrs E. G. Martyn, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs Fairlie Vincent, of Te Arolia, has returned to Cambridge. • • * • Miss Elsie and Miss Betty Skeet have left for a holiday visit to Canada.
