Copyright) (Received May 24, 3.15 p.m.) BERLIN, May 23 The press attacks Britain, the Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung declaring that London's excitement almost caused a world conflagration. A calmer tone was apparent after Mr Chamberlain's speech, though disappointment was expressed that Mr Chamberlain did not request the Czechs to withdraw their troops from that frontier.
