NEW APPOINTMENT MADE MR W. A. VON KIESENBERG f « (■y Telegraph.—Pre»» Association) WELLINGTON, Monday In future a new name will appear on nil certificates approving the release of film* throughout the Dominion. It Is that of Mr W. A. von Kiesenberg, who has been appointed censor and registrar of cinematograph films In succession to Mr W. A. Tanner, who has retired on superannuation after 44 years in the Public Service. Mr von Kiesenberg was born at Wanganui in 1881 and educated at public schools and Cornford's Private School, Wellington. He first joined the Public Service In 1004, being appointed to the Railways Department. In 1008 he was transferred to the Electoral Department and in 1013 to the Department of Internal Affairs, where he was appointed officer in charge of the Government Advertising Office in 1020 and assistant film censor in 1020.
