CHARGED WITH EBCAPINQ (By Telegraph.—Press Association) DUNEDIN, Monday Bearing obvious evidence in the form of an outsize in black eyes of his struggle in resisting arrest. Francis Henry Gordon Guilford (48) appeared in the Police’ Court to-day on a charge that while on remand for the offence of escaping from Paparua Prison he escaped from the Dunedin Gaol. He was remanded for a week, the police stating that there were other charges to be investigated.
