LABOUR UNREST
THE GOVERNMENT DEFIED INVASION OF POST OFFICE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Te!. Copyright) VANCOUVER, May 21 Fifteen hundred single unemployed men. in defiance of tlie decision of the Dominion and Provincial Governments that they would not be eligible for relief funds unless they returned to their homes in oilier parts of Canada, have invaded the Post nffice and the Art Gallery, also one of the leading hotels, at Vancouver. They are sleeping on the floors and having food brought to them by sympathisers. They have refused to leave the premises.
Followinc up<*n a warning by the Government against interference with ihe mails. Ihe workers at the Post Office have not been molested. Their ejection by the police lias been delayed for fear of heavy consequent damage to property.
