OPENING OF SEASON

HAMILTON ORPHANB’ OLUB ENJOYABLE LADIES’ NIGHT J' * ▲ very enjoyable ladles’ night opened the 1938 season of the Hamilton Orphans’ Club on Saturday evening In the Winter Show Hall, when there was a large number of members and friends present. The varied programme was much appreciated and a happy spirit prevailed throughout the evening. Bowls of golden loeland popples were arranged on the president’s table and during the evening a dellolouA supper was served. Mrs Harold Baker, wife of the president, was wearing a frock of floral crepe maroo with & spindleberry red panne velvet coatee. Among those present were;—Mesdames A. E. fiandford, T- E.
