SHOW INNOVATION

INDOOR BRIDGE-BUILDINQ BLEDISLOE HALL STRUCTURE Improvements to Bledisloe Hall for this year's Waikato Winter Show will include an innovation in the form of a welded steel bridge reaching from the dais at the rear of the hall to the bandstand in the centre. The bridge, which will be four feet wide by about 50 feet long, will materially increase the possibilities of indoor entertainment at the show, said Mr W. H. Paul, secretary of the show association, to-day, and will be used this year principally to give the public a better view of such displays as the fashion parade. The bridge, however, will not be a fixture in the position mentioned and is being constructed of such a length as well permit it to span the hall from one balcony to the other. The bridge is already in course of fabrication and will be placed in position shortly.
