MR JOSIAH H. WALLER
FORMER HAMILTON PRINTER The death occurred at Auckland yesterday of Mr Josiah Henry Waller, formerly a printer of Hamilton, aged 73 years. The late Mr Waller was born in England and when he came to New Zealand he took over the Victoria Press in Hamilton. He was here for about three years and in 1927 sold out. after which he went to Suva, where he was connected with a newspaper and printing establishment. Prior to coming to New Zealand. Mr Waller was in charge of a large printing business in India and later joined a missionary press in the Islands. Deceased was well-known In Hamilton and during the three years he was here was connected with several institutions ineluding the Methodist Church, of which he was a laypreacher. He' returned from the Islands to New Zealand about a year ago and had since resided in Auckland. The late Mr Waller is survived hv a widow, one son and two daughters. They are Mr 1!.
