CHUDLEIGH BARN DANCE
The Chudleigh social committee again held a successful old-time and modern dance evening in Mr McGee's barn recently. There was a large attendance, including many visitors from surrounding districts. Music for the evening was provided by Messrs I. Holmes and J. Hannah, while extras were played by Mr W. Gibbons (piano-accordion). A feature of the evening was the playing of several dance numbers by Miss Betty Lennard and Messrs B. Davis and T- Ra Ra on their stringed instruments. Songs by B. Davis and T. Ra Ra were also greatly appreciated. Novelty dances were won by Mrs J. Colson and Mr C. Rosier, Mrs K. Hickey and Mr C. Millen, and Miss R. Smith and Mr W. Elmiger. Mr J. Hannah carried out the duties of M.C.
