YOUNG MAN TAKES HIS LIFE (By Telegxapn.—Press Association) DUNEDIN, Thursday That death was due to poison selfadministered was the coroner's verdict at the inquest this morning on Victor Charles Whittaker (21), single, farm labourer, employed near Gore. Deceased’s married sister deposed that he came to her house on Sunday last looking depressed and stating that he had a disagreement with a girl with whom he was keeping company at a place near Gore. Yesterday she went to town leaving him alone In the house. The police evidence disclosed the finding of a bottle of poison and a letter expressing intention to commit suicide.
