Air Force Display.—The biggest display yet attempted by the Royal New Zealand Air Force will be seen at Rongotai Aerodrome, Wellington, on June 4, when 22 machines will participate. An inspection will be made by the Governor-General, Viscount Galway.
Tariff Discussions.—A remit carried at the Auckland provincial conference of the Farmers' Union yesterday called the Government’s attention to the necessity of having a representative present at the tariff discussions with America so that the Dominion's trade relations with America might be improved and not prejudiced ns a result
of any arrangements that might otherwise be made concerning overseas trade relations.
Excessive Speed.—At Auckland yesterday a motorist was fined £5 for
travelling'at an excessive speed, it being sraieq mat on !ne Great North Road between Henderson and New Lynn, he had reached 75 miles an hour. Mr E. li.
