INTOXICATED MOTORIST NINE MONTHS’ GAOL INVERCARGILL, Thursday Glarence Herbert Hibbs, married was sentenced to-day by Mr Justice Kennedy to nine months’ hard labour and disqualified from holding a license for five years for being intoxicated while in charge of a car and by an act or omission causing death. On a charge of negligently driving a car thereby causing death Hibbs was ordered to come up for sentence If called on within one year.
