STOCK AT FRANKTON BRIGHTER BEEF SALE A good demand was shown for fat sheep at the Frankton stock sale today when a better supply of good quality sheep came forward. The market was better for this class, while a keen market also resulted for beef and fat sheep. Ox beef was available in good supply and the market throughout was brighter than last week. Calves were yarded in fuller numbers and ve'aiers were in exceptionally keen request. Boner cattle also met a good market. Both wethers and ewes were traded more briskly and prices were a little lighter. Butchers operated with confidence. A smaller entry of fat pigs met with keen inquiry and values in all cases were fully firm.
