Experts arc working out details of a plan that will be begun in 1939 and by which it is hoped to eliminate the unemployed, of whom there are still a million and a-half. Training schools for workers are proposed. All public works •will be scheduled in order of importance, the Government deciding their priority. Housing and roads will come next after defence. Minor roads, public halls and swimming baths will be deferred.
