Mr G. E. Paten, of Scotland, is at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr W. L. Ranstead, of Hamilton, is in Auckland attending the annual provincial conference of the Farmers’ Union. Captains C. E. Weir and R. C. Queree, of Auckland, officers of the Royal New Zealand Artillery, are visiting Hamilton. Messrs O. Williams (Dargaville), J. H. Rhodes (Christchurch), M. Benjamin (Auckland )and R. Knap .Rotorua) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr C. J. Pierce, of Hamilton, is a Waikato delegate to the annual Auckland provincial conference of the Farmers’ Union, which opened to-day in Auckland. Mr G. T. Crawley, president of the Waikato sub-provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union, is in Auckland attending the union's annual provincial conference. Mr IL H. Schwieters, of Cambridge, is representing the Waikato subprovincial executive at. the annual Auckland provincial conference of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, which opened at Auckland to-day. Mr C. F. Tyler, general manager of the Australia Hotel, Sydney, will be granted twelve months’ leave from June 30, prior to retiring, and will leave for a trip to England next year. He has been manager of the hotel for 19 years. Mr T. S. Carlyon, general manager of Menzies Hotel, Melbourne, will succeed Mr Tyler.
