NEW ZEALAND LABOUR PARTY HAMILTON BRANCH FUNCTION A pleasant time was spent in the Toorak Hall on Saturday evening when a social and dance was held under the auspices of the Hamilton branch of the New Zealand Labour Party. Mrs Mcßeth sang several songs and the music was supplied by Mesdames J. Ruff and K. H. McGrail. During the evening a novelty dance was won by Miss Thelma Woolford and Mr Choat. The duties of M.'sC. were carried out by Messrs F. R. Hooper and A. T. DillonAmong those present were :—Mesdames W. Curtis wearing black floral satin; C. A. Barrell, brown and gold crepe; E. D. Hurrell, blue matalasse; J. Hurrell, green satin with cherry spray; H. M. McLean, floral brocade; K. H. McGrail, black lace with lilac tunic; M. Kingston, blue pique voile; D. Clark, lemon velvet; L. McDonald, black satin; Filer, navy blue and floral crepe de chine; A. Grant, navy and gold lame; H. Webster, black georgette and lace; E. Jerrat, green ripple crepe; J. Ruff, apple green satin; FMcDonald, green georgette; Mcßeth, black velvet; Misses Thelma Woolford, smoke blue cloque; R. Brown, navy crepe; J. Alexander, red satin; E. McGrail, green lace and georgette; Margaret Barrell, rust chenille; L. McLean, mustard and brown taffeta tunic frock.
