BATHROOM AFTERNOON
Another enjoyable afternoon was given recently in honour of Miss Elva Rye, whose marriage took place on Saturday, when Mrs E. Ryburn was hostess at her home at Ngahinapouri. The drawing-room had been charmingly arranged with autumn flowers and foliage, and a happy time was spent with amusing competitions. During the afternoon Miss Rye. who was wearing a model frock of deep moss green wool crepe de chine, opened the many useful gifts for the bathroom, after which a delicious afternoon tea was servedMrs Ryburn received her guests wearing navy cloque. .umiffl? mose present were:—Mesdames A.
