SURPRISE PARTY

PRESENTATION FROM GUEBTB An enjoyable surprise party was tendered Mrs Gale and Mr Brown, in ■view of their approaching marriage, by members of the Motumaoho private tennis club recently. About 30 members were present. The evening was spent in games and competitions, which were played enthusiastically. Supper was served by the ladies, after which Mr C. Copestake, on behalf of those present, presented to Mrs Gale a beautiful coffee service and spoons, expressing best wishes. Mr Brown suitably replied, and musical honours were accorded them.
