Won by a head, with hair a length between second and third. Time, lm 13s. GAY CHOU SUCCEEDS EVENT AT MO’OREFIELD SYDNEY, May 15. The six-year-old Gay Chou, by Gay Lothario—Chouette, recently purchased by Mr W. Devon, of New Zealand, won the Rockdale Mile, of £2OO, at the Moorefleld Races yesterday by four lengths from Linklet and Imbiber, Gay Chou ran the mile in 1.42. Dutiful, by Captain Bunsby from Chelae, was second in the Moorefleld Handicap, won by Gold Spark, by Scintillation from Just Gold.
