The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report on the sale as follows: — A small yarding of beef cows and a large entry of boner and store cows met with steady competition and realised fully up to late rates. A full entry of store cattle sold readily, whilst a small entry of dairy cattle created keen competition- A full yarding of all classes of pigs came forward. In the fat section the entry comprised mostly porkers and unfinished baconers, for which competition was keen and prices realised were on a par with recent quotations. Stores and weaners sold fully up to late rates, with a full bench of buyers operating.
