“INSULATION PLANS" GOVERNMENT CHALLENGED nature of plans sought (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday A challenge to the Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Nash, to state whether the Government had a plan which could insulate New Zealand against the effects of a fall in overseas prices, was made by the president of the National Party, Mr C. H. Weston, when addressing the women's section cf the party at Wellington tonight. 'Mr Nash is speaking at Lower Hutt next Monday night,” said Mr Weston. ''Will lie answer my question ?” Mr Weston quoted as follows from a recent speech by the Prime Minister. the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage:— "Even if there is any recession overseas.
