Mr A. Worthington, of North Auckland, is visiting Hamilton. Mr T. Parker, of Hamilton, left for Auckland to-day to connect with the Monterey for a visit to England. Mr J. Guiniven, Mayor of Takapuna, has consented to contest' the Waitemata seat as a National candidate, at the forthcoming election. Messrs M. J. Hutchinson (Wellington), A. D. Paterson (Christchurch . J. 11. Hale’ (Nelson), and A. J. Drew (Masterton) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Captain E. Roberts, commander of the maritime squadron of the Legion of Frontiersmen in South Australia, who has been touring New Zealand, has accepted the position as manager of Peter Pan Motors, Ltd., Hamilton. Mr H. P. Lawry, who has been stipendiary magistrate for the Masterton district—which included Lower Hutt, Petone and Upper Hutt—for the past three and a-half years, has been appointed to succeed Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., at Palmerston North.
