FOG DELAYS TRAIN

KING COUNTRY AND WAIKATO (By Telegrapn.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Thursday Delayed by dense fog in the King Country and Waikato last night, several trains were late in arriving at Auckland this morning. A long goods train which was 5£ hours late had a consignment of produce which failed to catch to-day's Auckland markets. “ The fog in the King Country was the worst this year," svaid the guard on one long-distance train, adding that shunting was most difficult.
