SERIEB OPENS QUIETLY LITTLE CHANGE IN PRICES (United Press Assn.—Eler. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, May 10 The wool sales opened quietly, prices being unchanged. A total of 9069 bales was offered, including 4171 hales New Zealand, and 7082 bales were sold. There was a moderate selection, with keen general demand, chiefly for good wools. ?lipes and inferior wools were frequently withdrawn. Slipes were from par. to 5 per cent, lower and others unrhantfed from the closing prices of the last series.
