VERDICT OF GUILTY
SUBORNATION OF PERJURY FALSE EVIDENCE SECURED (By Telegraph. —Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday The jury to-day returned a verdict of guilty on two charges of subornation of perjury against Anthony George Bouterey. Boutercy was charged with counselling or procuring Douglas William Dyer and Cyril Wilfred Stanley to swear falsely in divorce proceedings on August 27, 1937, between Bouterey and his wife. Coral Pearl Bouterey, that they had seen Peter Alexander Munro commit adultery with Mrs Bouterey on the launch Phyllis at Napier on May 15. 22 and 30, 1935. He pleaded not guilty. Bouterey was remanded for sentence.
