Copyright) Received May 11, 315 p.m.) LONDON, May 10 The wool sales opened quietly, prices being unchanged. A total of 9069 bales was offered, including 4171 bales New Zealand, and 7082 bales were sold. There was a moderate selection, with keen general demand, chiefly for good wools. Slipes and inferior wools were frequently withdrawn. Slipes were from par to 5 per cent, lower and others unchanged from the closing prices of the last series.
