NO NEED TO SLEEP OUT “ There is no need for you to sleep in a place like that,” said Mr S. L. Patterson. S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, to-day, when Harold Johnson, a farm labourer, was convicted for being found in a coal and wood yard in Bryce Street without lawful excuse. “If any probationer needs a place lo sleep,” added Mr Paterson. “ be can go to a probation officer and lie will be found a bed. In fact, any time a person on probation is in need of assistance lie need only go to the probation officer who will be very reasonable and helpful.” Accused was ordered to appear within three months for sentence if called upon.
