VISIT TO FRANCE HOMAGE TO UNKNOWN SOLDIER A BIG MILITARY REVIEW United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright PARIS, May 7 Tentative plans have been made for the visit to France in June of Their Majesties tlie King and Queen. They will cross the channel in the Royal yacht to Boulogne at mid-day on June 28 and are due in Paris at 4 p.m. A State dinner will be held that evening at the Palais de l’Elysee. The following day Their Majesties will pay homage to the Unknown Soldier and attend an official luncheon at the British Embassy. A military review will be held at Versailles on June 30, followed by lunch in the Hall of Mirrors—in which the Peace Treaty was signed—dinner at the Quai d’Orsay, and attendance at a gala opera performance. On July 1 Their Majesties will unveil the Australian war memorial at Villers-Bretonneux.
PRINOESB ELIZABETH PROFICIENCY IN LIFE-SAVING United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright LONDON, May 8 Princess Elizabeth, who is vigorously practising swimming, has been awarded a certificate of proficiency in life-saving. She is one of the youngest to hold the certificate.
