FROZEN LAMB
VALUES HIGHER IN BRITAIN DECLINE IN BEEF PRICES LONDON. May 7 In the frozen lamb trade values are fully *d per lb higher than a year ago. Storks are lower and consumption is higher. The trade sees no reason for a break for some weeks, although home-killed will become more plentiful toward the end of the month. The settlement of the Irish question also is expected to affect prices later. In contrast with lamb, beef is declining. owing to heavy shipments from the Dominions. Prices are sometimes unremuneratnc to shippers.
