CHARGE OF MURDER
PARKS AGAIN REMANDED (By Telegraph.—press Association) DUNEDIN, Saturday A further remand until May 16 was granted when Eric Sandagga Parks 28) appeared in the Police Court this morning charged with murdering Frances Amelia Lee at Henley on April 14. In reply to the magistrate the police stated that it was not intended to proceed with the case on the 16th and a further remand would be sought. Mrs Frances Amelia Lee (48), housekeeper for Mr Alexander Smith, farmer, of Henley, was found batted to death in a lonely farm-house on the main road near Henley, 21 miles south of Dunedin, on the night of April 13.
