PURCHASES BY LATVIA EXTENSION OF SERVICES (OfTlclal Wireless) (Received May 7, 1 p.m.) RUGBY. May 6 Messages from Riga state that the Latvian Post and Telegraph Department has decided to buy only Britishbuilt aeroplanes for the Latvian Airways Department, which opened the country's first internal airway route from Riga and Liepaja last year with passenger aeroplanes supplied by the British De Ilavilland Aircraft Company. It intends to extend its internal airways service to Daugavpils and other centres in the near future.
