BARN DANCE
FUNCTION AT NQARUA With a canopy of multi-coloured ! streamers festooning the celling, Mr 1 J. McGee’s barn, Chudleigh, made a picturesque setting for the combined modern and old-time dance which was held recently under the auspices i of the local social committee. There was a large attendance, and a dellght- ! ful evening was spent- Music for the j occasion was provided by Messrs W. ; Gibbons, J. Mclvor, M. Donovan, T. Holmes and J. Hannah. Novelty dances ; were won by Mr Arnet and partner i and Mr J. Knyvett end Miss M. McLellan. Supper was served by the , ladles’ committee, i Mr R. Montgomery was M.C.
