MONTHLY MEETING
iHAMILTON POBT AND TELEGRAPHS 1 | WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION MEETS ! The monthly meeting of the Hamil- ! ton Post and Telegraph Women's As- ! sociation was held recently at the Y.M.C.A. lounge, Airs Buckland presiding over a large gathering. The singing of the National Anthem opened the meeting, after which the president extended- a warm welcome in Miss A. Thompson, a new member, and to Airs Burt and Aliss McLean, visitors. After the business was concluded a delightful and much-appreciated programme was presented as follows: | Songs, Airs C. L. Wilson; dances, Misses Anita Paice and Dianne Rhodes; recitations, Aliss Valerie Nicolas, Alesdames Kelly, Paice and Rhodes were the accompanists. Amusing social competitions were won by Mesdames Norris, Bramley and Miss AlcLean. A delicious afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Adams, Connelly, Dalton and Miss W. Brown.
