ST. BRIDE’S LADIES’ GUILD The Rev. Kenneth R. Small, acting vicar of Otorohanga, presided over a large attendance at the annual meeting of St. Bride's Ladies' Guild, when an excellent balance sheet, on the year’s work was disclosed. Mrs G. R. G. Blomfield was welcomed to the office of president. Mrs C. S- Simmons was elected vice-presi-dent, and Airs C. J. Prescott was reelected secretary. The people's warden (Mr G. W. L. Palmer) presented Mrs C. Hotson with a crystal bowl, as a token of the appreciation of the vicar and vestry, for the work she had | achieved for the guild during her ex- : (ended term as president. t
