KITCHEN EVENING

BRIDE-TO-BE HONOURED A pleasant evening was spent at the home of Miss L. Caird on Wednesday In honour of Miss Zena Freeman, who Is shortly to be married. The time was spent in games, competitions and community singing. Humorous items were rendered by Miss Lynette Webb and Mr D. Reid, with Miss Noeline Thrupp at the piano. After supper. Mr G. Kirby asked Miss Freeman to open the many gift parcels. Mr Poole responded on her behalfThose present were:—Mrs Freeman. Misses Z. Freeman, R. Freeman. M. Pollard, N. Thrupp. L. Drummond, J. Sanders. G. McGovern. R. Painter. J. Cherry. J- Gore. Lynette Webb, M. Llttlewood. R. Tombs. The singing of For They are Jolly Good Fellows” brought a happy evening to a close.
