CARDS AND DANCE
WAITOA HALL COMMITTEE The Waitoa Hall was well-filled recently, when the hall committee held an old-time dance and card evening. Visitors were present from all the surrounding districts, and an enjoyable evening evening was spent. Mr C. Blomfield had charge of the dance floor, and Mr S. Hyde controlled the card room. A novelty waltz was won by Miss B. Vercoe and Mr J. Cook (Tatuanui). The winners in the progressive 500 tournament were Mrs L. Miles and Mr 1.. Slight.
