Copyrlgnt (Received August 28, 11.25 a.m.) BUCHAREST, August 27 It Is rumoured that Prince Nicholas suddenly returned by plane from Venice. It is officially stated, however, that there Is not a word of truth in the story. On April 11 Prince Nicholas, only brother of King Carol of Rumania, resigned his rank and titles as a protest against the King’s refusal to recognise Hie validity of his morganatio marriage in 1931 with a divorcee, Madame Saveanu, nee DknitreschTohany, and to legitimise the son of ihe marriage, giving him Hie title of Prince and li is mother the title of Princess. Nicholas, in accordance with a law providing that a member of the Royal Family may not marry without tlie permission of the King, became a commoner and the marriage will now be valid.
