PETER PAN'S LETTER.
J}EAR GIRLS AND BOYS,— Helgh-ho! for holiday fun! Such lovely newsy letters have been pouring into the office this week crammed full of holidays news and Peter and the Wendy Person were feeling Just a wee bit envious of their little members. And such lots of little people have been going to fancy dress balls that Peter and the Sunshine Girl could not resist going to ,one too, so the other night they went along to a hall and there saw the loveliest sight. There were pirates and sailors, gipsies and shepherdesses and the sweetest little fairies and elves all having such happy times with their dances and tinging, Indeed the Bunshlne Girl was wishing that she was baok at sohool again and was able to dress herself up as Lady Spring or perhaps as a Fairy Queen and Join In all those dancea too. The Wendy Person has Just burst Into Peter’s room to remind him that as we have had a whole fortnight of Bprlng sunshine It was time we had a special page. So Peter thinks that perhaps we could have a Spring Page on September 11, which will give you three weeks, ao aet to work little people and turn out all those verses and stories on Spring which Peter knows you have been hiding away till they were needed again. And don’t forget tha* all letters that week must be Spring ones too. So out with your thinking caps little people and let us see If we can’t make this page an even bigger success than It has been other years. And now Instead of garden news this week Peter Is going to tell you about our own little Princess. For Princess Margaret Rose has had another birthday and as she Is growing quite big now the King, her father, has presented her with her first bloyole. Then, It Is Interesting to all*Peter’s little members who are Brownies or Guides to see that Princess Elizabeth Is now a Guide and little Princess Margaret Rose Is a Brownie. With their little friends they have formed a troop whloh Is known as the Ist Buckingham Palace and have a Jolly trek cart to take on Woodland rambles. And now sunny hours on the Holiday Ship for the last week of your holidays with calm seas and blue skies. From yours awaiting more holiday news, x \ =====
