BOWLERS’ DANCE
6UCCESSFUL FUNCTION,
The Town Hall, Ngaruawahia, was thronged with dancers recently on th< occasion of the Bowling Club’s annua dance. . The evening was most successful.
Coloured streamers, balloons and festoons hung around the walls, and from the celling, giving the hall a most festive appearance. Music was played by the Parisian Orchestra, and Mr E. J. Hunter was M.C.
Bridge and euchre were played, the winners being: Bridge, ladies, Mrs H Sampson; men, Mr S. Kemp; euchre, ladies, Mrs A. Speirs; men, Mr F. Simpson. Novelty waltzes were wor by Mr Dawson and partner, and Mi Bromwich and partner.
